The first burn is the most important! Make sure to burn your candle all the way to the edge to prevent candle waste & tunnelling. Trim the wick to 1/4” before each use and let the candle completely solidify before relighting. Do not burn your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.
Yes, we hand pour all our candles in small batches right here in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
ernie is responsible for packaging orders, so please be kind if a sticker is slightly off center or if the bow is not tied to perfection. He tried his best!
We use plant-based wax made from soybeans, a renewable source that is vegan-friendly, biodegradable, non-toxic and clean burning. We stay away from essential oils and try to use phthalate-free fragrances - a much safer alternative to paraffin candles!
Our 8oz candles burn for approximately 40 hours. These are best achieved when following proper candle care. We always share insiders tips on our instagram, so make sure to stay tuned.
We offer complimentary pick up in Richmond, BC (address will be provided after you place your order). Please email info@ernestoscandles.com with your order number to arrange a pickup time and date. Orders are usually ready within 2-4 business days.

You'll need a wax warmer! There are several different types (plug-ins, tealights, lamps etc.). Start with 1-2 bears and you can add in a third if you want a stronger scent.

We try our best to fill orders within 2-4 business days. Our candles are shipped via Canada Post. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking details.
